Ketan heads strategic planning and is the person the team takes the difficult files to. Three decades in the trade means he has usually seen the problem before: a tariff heading that will not survive assessment, a consignment that has to move before a licence lands, a shipment held on a technicality. He works across customs clearance, freight forwarding and logistics, and most of the job is finding the route through rather than the reason why not. Large and time critical shipments tend to end up on his desk.
Sanjay heads business development and client relationships, and is usually the first person an importer speaks to. His three decades in international trade have been spent largely on the compliance side, finding the answer that is commercially workable and still defensible if it is ever questioned. He has run large infrastructure project shipments end to end, and has helped a number of multinationals set up their import operations in India.
Both founders still work on live consignments, but most of the day to day is carried by the operational team across our five offices. Dock and documentation staff at Vashi cover clearance at JNPT and Nhava Sheva. The Andheri East desk runs the air cargo division at the Sahar Air Cargo Complex. The Fort office sits next to the Custom House for Mumbai Port work, and the Ahmedabad and Bhuj-Kutch teams cover Mundra and Kandla.
The firm clears on its own Custom Broker Licence No. 11/864 and holds Authorised Economic Operator (AEO-LO) status, ISO 9001:2015 certification and BCBA membership. What that means in practice for an importer is set out on the about page, alongside the sectors we handle and how we work.
If you want to speak to someone about a shipment, contact the office and you will be put through to the person who handles that port.
